Regardless of how Gus is playing. You have to look at the overall picture. With/Without the play of Gus we are currently one game back from first in the division, playing for a piece of first place this week, with the weak part of our schedule coming up.
The running game is starting to show signs of some major life, the line is coming together, and remember this is still the first season for us to run this offense. All in all with everything considered forget our record is 3-5 and just remember we are playing for a piece of first place this week.
This is not a good time to be making a change.
We are not a team built right now for our QB to come in and win games for us, simply because we do not have a QB on the roster that can do that. We need a caretaker.
Yes Gus blew it last week .. but oh well ... all QB's do that from time to time even the great ones.
At the end of last season I think we all would of been thrilled to be in the position at the halfway mark to be playing for a piece of the pie halfway through the season so lets just sit back .. relax a little bit and enjoy the ride, even if it is a little bumpy.
