Before the arrows start flying along with the barbs, I really believe the Dolphins need to go in a different direction.

These sort of posts got me banned from other boards, with allegations of baiting and so on, but facts are facts.

How can this team lose its final 2 games at home...?

Why do they bring in Pat White, with Henne's alleged "eye" injury...?

Why not Thigpen...?

Guys I am telling you, there is no excuse for these sort of losses, especially at home.

The Dolphins front office needs to go in a different direction..

Henne is throwing way too many picks and from what I saw, never should have sat out in the 2nd half, unless there is something I do not not know.

Happy New Year to all.....

Peace....

Simple: they aren't good at stopping the pass. Bums like Mark Sanchez and Vince Young looked like Pro Bowlers against us, Pro Bowlers like Rivers and Schaub looked like Hall of Famers, Hall of Famers like Manning, Brees, and Brady looked like John Unitas against us. This is due to a lack of talented, experienced players in the secondary. No secondary with two rookie corners backed up by two physical run stuffing safeties will be able to effectively stop even average passing games.

Another direction is the wrong direction. This team is in a great situation.

Having Pat White as the 2nd string qb period was a questionable move but if the deccission was made at half time that Henne cant go then Thigpen should have been inserted as the qb.

The fact that it took a near kill shot to get white out and thigpen in speaks volumes about Sparano's game management.

I have been a supporter of the entire coaching staff but many things the last half of the season have me very concerned about the direction of this team.

1 Team lost its final two home games because we had no playmakers lets see 4th string quaterback a banged up offensive line. Two Rookies no playmakers at wideout

2 Pat White was the designated #2 if they brought in Tigpwn when Henne got hurt they would not be able to bring back Henne or White.

3 Team is on a 4 year plan I think with the toughest schedule in the NFL and the rash of injuires the team never quit. You cant just change Head coaches every three years we stick with the triffecta and see what happens in year 3.I remember everyone on these boards expecting 8-8 this season before the injury bug.Look to next season and forget about getting rid of the front office and head coach.

Its easy to go back and say what should have been done after seeing how well Thigpen played, but lets go back to reality. They werent sure if Henne could come back or not. If you put Thigpen in you eliminate both him and Pat white playing the rest of the game according to the rules. I honestly believe they thought that Henne still had a chance to come back in at that point. White also has more knowledge of the offense and experience with the it on the field. Thigpen wasnt signed until mid season. So they decided to at first stick with White. Had White not been injured im sure the following drive we would have seen Thigpen.

Reminds me of the joke about the old woman who was complaining about the restaurant where she just ate:

"The food was terrible and the portions were too small."

If u put Thigpen in, in the 3rd quarter, u risk him getting hurt and then u can't put back in White or Henne.

They put White in because he was 2nd string and Thigpen was the emergency guy. REason being, they have a "pat white" package and putting him second makes him able to be used.

When Pennington went down, we immediately went to Henne because Henne has been groomed to replace Pennington. Had Henne got hurt that game, we would have run the wildcat the rest of the time because White couldn't go in.

It was a chance, I can't knock Sparano for that, he was trying to just eat some clock and get to the 4th. I feel confident had White NOT gotten injured, we would have seen Thigpen in the 4th regardless.

And sure, let's go in a different direction, I mean forget the fact that we made the playoffs a season ago for the first time in 7 years . . . and lost half of our starters this season and had a chance to make the playoffs the final game of the season. All after going 1-15 . . . why not hire Cam Cameron again, that was the "fresh" direction and tricky offense u wanna see right? Be satisfied that we got to root for this team to make the playoffs in week 17.

I think people forget we were 1-15 2 years ago. We won 11 games with a skate schedule last year in which we set an NFL record for turnovers. Look at the injuries we had this year. Will Allen, Ferg, and Ronnie being some of the biggest. We are a draft and FA period away from being the AFC favorites and 2 years from being contenders for a long tme. We are headed in the right direction, why start all over? People want intant success and it just doesn't happen like that.

No.

Guys c'mon man I know the rules about the 3rd qb playing if he is inactive I know that....BUT Pat White should NEVER at any point this season been the 2nd QB period!!!!!!

I dont care about the "pat package" if they wanted him active call him a wr or keep 3 qbs active, thats coaching and managing the roster correctly.

Thinking pat white could play qb was a joke and I challenge anyone here to give any evidence that at anypoint that pat white showed he could be a NFL qb?

So yea thats on Sparano and Parcells.

If this team doesn't produce much better results in 2010, Parcells could be gone...and all his boys. Not exactly what I'm looking for, but this is a Win NOW game, and the Tuna knows that best.

Sparano is not a major league coach and it shows on the sidelines EVERY Game. He's more of a rah rah(I can't believe I got this job) guy, then an in your face motivator like a Bill Cowher type of Coach that I wish we had standing there staying on the guys and the coaches.

THAT'S HILARIOUS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
