The plays called for PW were wasted plays at a time when we were still rolling. It broke the continuity and created long yardage. On one play in particular, he was rolling outside ready to pitch to RB, RB was looking back waiting for the pitch, and PW was smothered by the saints LB's. It looked like he was afraid. If he would have pitched it, RB might have had a big run.
Please stop giving PW plays in the games! He cannot replace RB in the wildcat! RB even throws the ball better. Fasano dropped a well thrown pass that PW would not even attempt. Sorry for the rant. These plays did not cost us the game, but they contributed to the momentum swing that got NO's team going.
PW, Ginn, and Wilson need to take a seat on the pine and stay there.

After seeing Ronnie's nice pass in the pocket to Fasano(which was 100% catchable) I don't know why even bother putting White back there now. Ronnie has had some nice throws.

White looks lost out there. He contributed to the Jets victory, but everything worked that night. I don't want to say he's a bust 6 games into the season, but I really don't see the point in even using him right now. Henne's our quarterback, and if we need to throw from the wildcat we have Ronnie. It's all we need.

I think the play calls were bad, I say let him sling it or throw a screen, or more so just let him take off. We were up like 17-3, if theres anytime to try something do it then. Bad breaks, bad luck, and Bell on Shockey, and bad play calling for multiple series were why we lost. Ricky had like 8 touches. WTF he dominated. Not 2 pat white plays.

Agree 100% about the momentum of the game going away from us when we brought in Pat White cold like that.

He is totally playing scared and why shouldn't he be? The team was rolling and Ronnie has mastered the wildcat and then they force Pat to come in and run the wildcat which bascially just calls for him to play RB at 190 lbs. (sopping wet) in the NFL. He's too scared to pitch the ball, let alone throw it down field.

Look, if the Trio felt he was worth a 2nd round pick b/c he has the talent to be a real NFL QB, and will be our #2 QB of the future, and a guy who possibly could've pushed for the starting job if Henne would've struggled...well...then fine, he is what he is....a nice developmental #2 QB prospect.

But he ain't even close to what Ronnie or Ricky can give us in the wildcat so why force him to play there?

Hell, if they want another option for the cat, then what happened to Kory Sheets who they signed off the SF practice squad? I heard good things about him.

i am not sure, i just wish they would LOCK THE DOORS TO THE EXPERIMENTS LAB until after the season is OVER. They keep changing up things, personnel groups, formations, and etc. They even changed the WILDCAT from the way it was so successful, with the extra blocker and no QB, why?? We are a POWER smash mouth team, line it up, POUND THE ROCK and lets go.

P.S. I know he's a little busy playing CB, but if anyone else besides Ronnie and Ricky should be getting worked into the offense, it should be Sean Smith. Now he's a playmaker and he was recruited to Utah as a WR and did play RB in HS too.

here's the thing: the "Pat White Problem" > is directly relative to > the "Dan Henning Problem". Stupid does as stupid is (8 runs in final :30).

I agree. Tyler Thigpen should be getting any of the trick plays meant for PW.
That would give the opposing team another combination to think about.

I have to say i have, overall, been disappointed by how he has done when inserted. I think it does break the continuity a little. I am not against developing the guy, but they stick him in a the strangest moments of the game. I find it baffling.

Why even debate this. Pat white is always to blame

Pat White is not to "blame" because he is simply not ready.
It is the coaching staff that is to blame.
PW will factor into the offense in a few years in some capacity.

I agree. I mean Henne already has to deal with the wildcat, and now he has to concede snaps to a guy that looks like he should be playing pop warner. It's ridiculous. Henne can't get any kind of rhythm with this **** going on...
