I was wondering what the asking price would be for Boldin. He doesn't look like he wants to be in Arizona at all. He is exactly what we need at WR and I don't know why we haven't been calling the cardinals asking what their price is. Your thoughts...

AZ says he is not available so I don't think we would have a shot. They would want probably at least 2 1st rd picks.

Just because the media has not reported it does not mean Parcells and/or Ireland has not contacted Arizona about inquiring the services of Anquan Boldin.

The problem is what is he worth and my answer is atleast a 1st rounder.

If the Bengals turned down two 1st round picks for Chad Johnson from the Redskins, you can bet Arizona will at least want a first round pick and some more compensation.

At this point, way to much to give up for this rebuilding team. Yes we need WR help, but we can't just blow our future draft picks on veterans. That is what Wannstedt and Saban did and it put us in the position we are today. If we want to use a 2nd or 1st round pick on a WR, lets do it next April on draft day.

Agreed nub.

I also agree with those of you who question Boldin's worth. He's a good WR no doubt about that, but giving up a probable second rounder (i cant see them asking for a first) is too much. Even though he's a fairly young guy who has a lot of years of good football in him, and is likely to be better than any second rounder we draft, it's just too much of an asking price for a team that is trying to rebuild.

The price for Boldin would be to high. We're better off waiting for him to become a free agent next year.

yes we all stated Boldin would be too expensive for it really... let me add he is also tweaked up right now!!! which tends to happen often with him.

Ny guess is we will draft two WR's next year. Prob a first or second rounder, then a third rounder. Parcells likes to draft in two's.

If we were an Anquan Boldin away from getting to the Super Bowl, then I'd say yeah, pull the trigger on the deal, make it ASAP...but we're not.

Keep the 1st rounder, use it on a Maualuga or Crabtree, or a CB.

I agree 100% we mine as well save our picks have a strong draft and then go after Anquan strong in free agency. The best thing about Miami is that most players want to play here. For 1 the state of Florida has no state taxes, the weather, and the scene. We just need to inprove and get to that point where we are a free agent here and there away from the big game.

The FO thought Wilford was going to be that vetern guy. He needs to shape up.

I agree to some extent. But if a great player like Boldin become available for just a 1st rounder, it bears consideration. Not saying I would at this point, but Boldin for a 1st would be mighty tempting. Of course, thats irrelevant because they are gonna ask for a lot for than one 1st.
