Active Roster
The nice thing with a message board is that it saves all comments and has a handy dandy search feature. So go ahead and go back to last year when I was saying the same exact thing. And no, I wasn't clamoring for Orton, but if we signed him, I'm willing to bet you'd have a thread up saying how it was a savvy move, because in your eyes, this organization can do no wrong.
But awesome job Ireland, you brought in a very good backup QB that turned out, unintentionally, to be better than the guy you decided to let start again (by not drafting a QB or bringing in any actual competition) and a LB that didn't contribute anything until the season was damn near over. The one good move he made that he actually meant to make was Bush. Everything else has been reactive signings and fixing holes that HE created in the first place (Pouncey, Bush, and now we need a WR). Further, nobody wants to play here because of this front office. You can brush it off as sour grapes if you want, but this wasn't the first we heard about this. Where there's smoke, there's clearly fire in this case.
Ireland blows.
No I thought we should have signed Orton this time last year............and I was wrong.
Look Ireland made a massive mistake and a terrible mistake with Dez Bryant. This though is the catalyst for all the 'overhyped' criticism. Nobody wants to play here tag has come from ex-players who Ireland chose not to sign/re-sign. I think its more telling to see the players who are here and want to re-sign. I cant remember through this year and last any player who became a FA, who said they did not want to re-sign for Dolphins.
