Why is everyone so freaked out over this Manning Hoopla?

The way I look at it is we really cant screw this up this offseason

We are either going to land

Manning
Flynn
RG3
Weeden
Tannenhill

I want Manning as much as the next guy but lets be honest the immediate fallback plans are not horrible guys. One way or another our QB Situation is either going to get immediately better or our Future at QB will be brighter.

No more mediocre QB play!!!

Change at QB is coming so relax and enjoy this offseason, stop stressing geez.

Can't speak for anyone else. I'm not freaking out over anything. The only doubt I have creeping into my mind is if the Dolphins can find their QB. It hasn't happened for years now so the 'ol thought of "Why would it happen now?" comes into my mind in cases like the Manning hoopla.

Manning is the only one I feel will definitely give us better QB play than Moore did the second half of last season...Flynn possibly, RG3 maybe...

Manning equals playoffs now in my humble opinion. Flynn equals contention for many years to come (hopefully)

I'm good either way football wise but Peyton will sell tickets and fill the stadium and i like the fact Reggie Wayne will come also.

At least we have some opinions so it's all good.

Tannehill needs work and isn't ready for the big time. RG3 is not coming to us, and even if he did, no rookie QB has ever led a team to a super bowl. If you're not intending to win the super bowl THIS YEAR, I really don't know what you're trying to do. Weeden is already 28 and would be a rookie. UGH. Flynn may be good, but he's an unknown. He could be another Kolb. Peyton is the clear road to immediate success for a team that has been starved for it for many years.
