Why is everyone hating on Lavar?????? He's a premiere linebacker when healthy, and we need that Ferocious man to mesh with Zach and Crowder!!!! Wow I have Goosebumps thinking of that coming out of the tunnel, my god! I say take the risk and give him a good sum of money a little smaller than the giants, because they are paying less than Jville would have. So why not bring him in and let him go to prow bowls under sabans system.

I don't think anyone hates Lavar, we just don't want to be held hostage to a guy who wants to break the Dolphin's bank by his demands. Brees wanted a lot more than he was worth too. I don't blame guys for wanting as much money as they can get, but I don't think we should add a LB like Lavar and have him come in here and make more than Zach when he hasn't done anything more than Zach to deserve that kind of money.

Why do you say everyone??? I don't hate him and would love to have him on the team but if you haven't figured it out yet, Saban will not over pay for anyone. Arrington (reportedly) has already been offered what the Dolphins thinks he's worth. It is up to him and his agent to accept it or not.

I don't hate Arrington. I just don't know that he would be a good fit in the current Dolphin defense. He is big and loaded with talent. But he is also loud and obnoxious. Not as bad as T.O., but still in the same category. That is why he is taking so long to sign with any team right now.

Don't hate LA, hope we sign him, but not at the money he wants. Just watch, Saban is driving the price down. He'll sign with Miami, but at a reasonable price that won't limit our options.

I dont hate him either but I dont really want him here at any HIGH price. I would rather Saban draft a rookie and MOLD him into the player we need, without the baggage.
What makes ZACK and JASON so good? Thedesire to win.They both proved they were worth it B4 they asked for it. No one wants to win more than those two. LA SEEMS to want to do his own thing at times, that is part of why he was BENCHED. we dont need that kind of attitude. IMHO

The title of this thread is mis-leading, I thought it would be about the platypus.

Arrington is chasing the money and is not a disciplined player. Wasn't he benched last year for not doing what he was supposed to? People are just worried that he could be a locker-room cancer or take up too much of the cap and the coaches time.

Agreed, but it will be even better to see Crowder knock Brady out, and we dont have to go broke for it. Lavar wants too much money. If he wants to play a fin then his price has to come down, otherwise goodluck someplace else.

Don't hate LA either, but price has to be right and as a Penn State fan let me say this. I've watched LA for years playing and he is not the greatest team player, I.E. left early (me) never considered teamer in D.C. (again me) gibbs is a fine coach but was more than willing to bench him (curious) and returns over 4 mil bucks! Gotta wonder where his head is because he obviously didn't have a plan being out this long into F.A.
