in my opinion frerotte has looked good miami's problem is their crappy o-line, we should still draft a QB with next years first or second but Frerotte proved me wrong these past 2 games I was a big AJ supporter but now i'm willing to see how frerotte does the rest of the way but tim couch, patrick ramsey what is everyone thinking, one guy even mentioned Kordell Stewart

Because Frerotte is 34

Omar Jacobs in 06!

I think he was talking about the people who want to trade for Patrick Ramsey and such. Everyone realizes that Frerotte has only got maybe an extra season following this one, if even that, and that we'll need someone young to take the reigns. And as you can see from my sig, I agree with picking Omar, but will our pick be high enough to do so?

Yeah Frerotte had a really good game week one.

This week he was quite dreadful though.

I mean, his WR'S did drop some nice passes. But you don't throw 23 out of 43 passes incomplete on all dropped passes.

He still is not hitting WR'S in stride even on that first drive. Mcmichaels had to reach behing or slow down to catch it.

The deep pass to Boston really worries me. What was it 45 yards in air? He was running forward had momentum and he was barely able to get it there. He floated it in there. Boston should have made a better attempt though.

IMO this is classiC Frerotte though. There will be alot of excuses for his poor play this year but he is mediocre at best. He has one good game then follows it up with 3 bad games.

But mediocre is good enough IMO with this team. If Chambers can actually catch a ball we might have had a shot yesterday.

Plus that last pass that was INT'D he's gotta do a better job of atleast giving his WR a chance tomake a play.

However, this game was a humbling one. It's like some people were saying, we weren't as good as we played last week just like Denver and the Jets aren't as bad as they played last week.

However with as poorly as we played it is nice to know that we were never out of it till that INT was thrown with like 3 mins left A INT that Jay Fiedler would have been Crucified for mind you:goof:

I hope we get Omar Jacobs over Matt Leinart. Omar Jacobs is the man with the plan.

Frerotte is 86 years old, that's why we need a new QB.

Personally, I think he has done alright both games. He is an average QB that played to his level at the Jets and above himself against the Broncos. I'd like to see him here if next year as well to tutor a young guy.

I want us to draft a QB because I'm fed up of us trying to find the next Brady. The worse thing is that we are looking for that QB in a pile of other teams cast offs.

So we spend a ton of money on an unproven QB and then call him a bust after 2 games? In the first round we should target either a LT or a CB. Those are our 2 biggest needs.

No question that Ferrotte is better than Feeley. He has played well and avoided the huge mistakes that hurt this team last year. If he was 28, I think fans would'nt be so ansy. But we all know that Gus is not the long-term answer. Ferrotte will likely start this year and next and I agree that the Dolphins should look to the draft for a qb to develop.

exactly the same thing will happen...

If 'insert LT's name' gives up a sack in the first two games he is a bust..

If 'insert CB's name' doesnt pick off the QB in his first two games then he is a bust...

I'm starting to fall in line with that way of thinking...It just depends on where we draft and who is there at the time...If we could land Ferguson...I would be down with that...We could pick up a young QB later...We'll see.

I like Frerotte and he should be with us for the next 3 years. But he's not the future. I'm for replacing AJ Feeley immediately since he's doing nothing for us now or next year. That's all.

Funny and true.

Maybe if someone is available in free agency, that should be the plan.

CB is not one of our biggest needs. We have Will Pool...
