why don't we go ahead and knock the orange bowl down to build marlins stadium, then the canes can play at dolphins stadium too.

wait, here's a better idea. FAU can play all their games on thursday, we can host the highschool game of the week there on friday. the canes can play there on saturday, and then sunday we'll have the dolphins game! what a great idea.

And at that point, the field condition will be so poor we can unveil our new, Super Wad-Ball defense wherein we run the ball 50 times per game.

oh! you ole rasscal ,you, you should run for mayor of miami. From what i heard they played the fau -osu game there so you jokers could see a real full back and a dt at work i hope you clowns took notes .
listen the ad of fau had something to do with it but i actually agree that the marlins should have there own stadium but the problem is nobody goes to any of the marlins or dolphins games and this really upsets some of the marlins and fin players. if the fans dont start supporting their teams there wont be any teams in mia . paul t the nfl commish has received a request from espn to contract the dolphins for this reason. and bud selig is thinking about the same thing. source is a employee who wishes to be anyonymus

Why would you want to knock down the Orange Bowl? There are plenty of other spaces for the Marlins Stadium.

When you're a small program that has a chance to host a bowl team from the Big 12 conference, you don't play them at Lockhart Stadium. You find the most seats you can and hope to fill as many of them as possible.

Whenever Texas plays Rice in Houston, it's not at the campus stadium -- it's at Reliant Field.

why do you care? it's not the first time they've played there and it won't be the last.

What's the problem?
The Canes played their games at the OB when the Phins were still there and it wasn't a big deal at all.

The impact of a college football playing in Joe Robbie Stadium pales in significance to the impact of a baseball team playing there which as you well know changes the entire field.

cuz we are a pro football team and our field is already ($%&*# up as it is with the marlins playing there. and btw it sux but the orange bowl is going down. the reason is because the city owns that property and wants to build a marlins stadium there, or so i hear.

We are a pro team and we have 3 days with our pro grounds crew that can fix it. Chill out. As for the Orange Bowl, I'll believe it when I see it.

You could be right, while my job is politics, I don't know Miami politics.

No wait I have a better idea lets play all our home games in the orange bowl and all others play at pro Player.

At least we were nearly unbeatable there. Ah the memories.

man it would really suck not having the OB around if they were to bring it down, rich history there

I'm not laughing, I'd go for that plan in a heartbeat!
I've had season tix in both and I'd go back to the OB without a doubt!

The OB rules regardless of the cramped consessions and parking on lawns. It was a fantastic football stadium and it was a true home field advantage. Memories indeed! :D
