Guys,
Watching Hagan misjudge a few more balls tonight had me wondering.. Why is Hagan a lock to make this roster, after two underachieving years in Miami and only 4 catches all preseason?

To be honest I'm not here to judge Hagan, I think he has the potential to turn in to a good WR in this league. But when I watch Camarillo and Bess make clutch 3rd down catches, and see them hustling on every play, I can't help but ask the question- Why is Hagan a lock? In the spirit of everything this regime has stood for to this point, is it such a leap to think that Camarillo and Bess can make this team at the expense of Hagan?

It is going to suck when one of those guys is let go...

Since his rookie year ive never been impressed with him. He has to go.

dont worry, one more year than he's out of here.

I'm not saying I want Hagan out of here.. But I see too much Chambers and too little Welker in the kid... We need reliable WR's that hold on to the ball, especially if Henne is the future.

I think he is safe because we don't have too much depth in wide receivers.

Ginn is a lock , I like what i've seen in bees , but wilford even though he had a good game today he has drop a lot of catches and camarillo it's ok , I mean our receiver corps is really shaky

The 2 P principal practice and potential. The last 3 coaches have loved his potential and he probably practices better than he plays. So give them 3-4 games and this being his 3rd year and Sporanno demanding production Bess etc will probably be you 2nd reciever. Just give it time.

I've been a big Hagan basher too, that's well documented. But i think he should at least be on the roster here. At least with the players we have now. Camarillo and Bess i like but i dont think either guy is a better player, or a real candidate for a number two WR. Wilford looked better tonight but with his play so far he certainly isn't a number 2, and he hasn't been his whole career.

He is safe because he is getting because he is getting about 200,000 dollars more then the punter and if he does end up playing well in the regular season it will be worth it

yeah this is definitely Hagan's last chance as a dolphin.... he has to come through, but he has been so dissapointing ever sinc he came in.

he drops balls, doesnt seperate often, very inconsistant... concentration is it? i dont know how well he works either. it doesnt look like he is a hard worker though, but thats just a guess.

I have been asking this same question for some time now... And didn't he have the illegal motion penalty tonight too??? That is something that will drive Sparano MAD.

When you really take a look at it, he has alot of overlapping skill sets with Wilford and considering Wilford's career, the $6m guarantee and how he played tonight... Hmmm... Then Bess showed great versatility returning punts and Camarillo has been THE CLUTCH guy... I would not be the least bit surprised to see Hagan packing...
