i love bess but come on. play to his strength. he is a slot wr nothing more nothing less.

I feel like we ought to just keep posting this every week. I wish somebody would explain to me why Bess is returning punts.

have not seen one decent return all year from bess and his posture for catching is all screwed up

I believe that the main reason is his sure catching ability. The coaching staff probably believes that it is better to make sure they have someone they are sure will catch the ball, and get them a few yards, as opposed to Ginn - who will drop the ball with all the traffic around him, but may produce a few nice gains, or even a TD. Basically, I think they are playing it safe - which I think is the right move.

Kickoff returns are different, as there is more margin for error.

I hold my breath on EVERY punt because I know their is a solid 40% chance Bess is going to bobble or muff it.

I agree. Put Ginn on PR's. He was a better PR than KR in college and has the speed to at least break a long one. Bess has no ability whatsoever to break a long PR. I love Bess, but PR is not his thing. Wouldn't mind drafting a Trindon Holliday or Jeremy Williams later in the draft either.

I would like to see Sheets returning kicks. Is he not activated??? If that is so, then we are only rolling with two Runningbacks plus a Fullback on game days.

I don't think Ginn or Bess should be returning punts....why risk your best WR (Bess) or give Ginn another chance to fumble it?....I would rather see Camarillo or Hartline running them back.....they have sure hands.

i think the only reason he is back there is because he wont lose yards. he wont return a punt for a TD but he isnt going to run backwards like teddy.
