Was Ross' statement saying the new GM would have autonomous control over the roster and draft and report directly to Ross something I dreamed?!

When does this irresponsible, slanderous reporting end?

Instead he just reported that there are big questions about who the new GM would report to and highlighted the confusion of power. He even brought up Aponte. Terrible.

So called real reporters have been doing it for decades now, why can't a fake one like him do it?

Because he is a moron. When was the last time this guy had ever broke a story of any consequence that was correct. Another example of how the media has gone in the crapper ever since Time/Warner took over ESPN(I know he is with CBS, but Time/Warner's acquisition of ESPN was the genesis of all the bad reporting.)

The problem with most of the national media as they report on the Dolphins with the exception of Darlington who lives here, is they rely on the local hacks for their leads. Sure they may call someone in the organization to verify the rumors, but for the most part they're relying on local media reports. Often they mirror whatever slant they want to promote. So LaCanfora is siding with Salguero and his TMZ gorilla style journalism. It's sensationalism at it's best.

Hard to break the perception of ineptitude when you're being sold out by those right under your nose.

And notice when the patriots lose, they do not show Kraft and his box?
Only when they are celebrating do they show them.
On the other hand I have seen Ross get up in disgust at the conclusion to some games this season. So they have no issue showing Ross losing and disappointed.

Yea we heard what Ross said, but do we know what the GM candidates are leaking to the press, in regards to what is being said about the chain of command during interviews...time will tell

Actually, the Dolphins released the names, they weren't leaked. If you follow the Dolphins on Twitter, you see the names tweeted out after interviews.

They show Daniel Snyder, Jeffrey Lurie, Jerry Jones... This is going to be a future trend, to see the unhappy owner after losing a game.
However, the Krafts do appear more prominently than most owners. Must be the cheese platters they distribute. (Another very good year at the cheese factory)
