Why is no one talking about AJ EDDS?

He seemed to have a good game. I missed the game personally so i guess what im asking is if he continues his good play ,is their any chance he starts over Burnett? or is it a done deal?

It's a preseason game. Burnett is a beast, but yea Edds is capable. Nope. He isn't going to start over Burnett.

Edds is a great 3rd ILB but I don't see him taking Burnett's job.

Absolutely zero chance he takes Burnett's job. But he showed a good knack for being around the ball, and making good tackles. Solid backup.

Edds was very good that much is true, but it is unlikely that he will start over Burnett. Great though to have that kind of back up in case someone goes down.

Edds is alright. His smarts are off the charts but his physical talent leaves a lot to be desired. He will be a quality backup in this league for many years.

He seems to turn and cover very quickly in passing situations and i am sure that is what his primary contribution will be. He looked good.

Edds is a situational player at this stage. If he can cover TE's and stuff he will have a role.

Edds is mostly a passing down specialist all i hear about is how he good is in passing situations as far as covering the middle of the field and TE's. We will probably see him alot in 3rd and mid - long downs. Burnett is also very good in coverage its his run defense im mostly worried about. in that category i dont think he is better then Crowder

Give him a chance he only practiced a few times and didnt play much.

I thought Edds had an outstanding game. Always was around the ball, and can tackle. Doubt he starts over Burnett but I gotta admit i love the depth!

Trusnick was around the ball, but he did not make any plays. He frequently missed the tackle. I do not see him sticking.
