In case you guys haven't noticed, Miami fans are the only ones that think Chambers is a good reciever.

First off, after signing Ronnie Brown we're only a little over $1 million under the cap.

Second, I think you guys are underestimating just how low Price's value has become now that he's literally played his way off a team that gave up a first round pick for him. Think David Boston, AFTER San Diego...not quite David Boston after 2004 (which means veteran's minimum) but Boston's contract before we cut him was not exactly a very highly paid one during the years we planned to honor the contract.

Price is now facing the stigma of being a guy that only looked good in Buffalo opposite the highly talented Eric Moulds, with a QB with a cannon of a deep arm throwing it to him. Then again, some team out there will have a GM who is not a Vick fan talking about how no receiver could succeed with Vick as quarterback and so Peerless might get overpaid by someone.

But it's worth taking a shot.

OK... you don't have to repeatedly bash Chambers...
You made your point, and I let the comment about "nobody but fin fans think CC is a good reciever" slide... even though that's hogwash...

You can't buy speed.

er...well maybe you can.

With that fast of a unit I'd be underthrowing deep all day and having the receiver stop and get the ball. Defender will be runnin his butt off all uncomfortable and off balance just to keep up deep, and the underthrow reduces the chances of the inaccurate overthrow that's off by a yard and goes right through the receivers fingertips.

Chris Chambers has not had any kind of throwing offense ever since he has been here. Wait to see what he does after this year with a new coordinator who throws the ball before you open your mouth.

Price brings speed - period! We need to stretch the D to help the running game and the Oline. Teams will continue to stack the line until we can open things up. If there is no deep threat we will continue to see 8 and 9 man fronts. Chambers and Booker are not speedseters. Boston has wheels and I believe will see alot of action IF healthy. Price would come in and change the dynamics of how teams D us because if he and Boston where on the field at the same time one will see 1 on 1 especially if Chambers is also on the field.

Dude...no way do we entice price to come here. We dont have enough $$ and I don't think we have enough to offer a guy who can hop aboard a ship heading for the big dance...as in philly or dallas. They are both at the top or on their way there...instead of the dolphins who are re-building to make a run next year or the year after. Seriously, a guy like price wants to go somewhere where A) they throw him the ball and B) are planning on winning more than 8 games. He's not at the beginning of his career where he's willing to invest 3-5 years. He's gonna go for a ring-bound team for sure. Not us.
