Why is Peerless Price visiting Miami...

I think people are expecting too much from David Boston. Even if he stays healthy and has a good year, he's not realistically a long-term guy. Most likely he won't be affordable if he has a strong year and will end up somewhere else. For that reason, I think Peerless Price would make sense.

...If we have no chance to get him and we have no need for him. IMO Chambers is alot better than PP and Boston could be. At best he could be a third reciever on Miami.

Due diligence. Nothing more. Part of what I like about Saban is that he will look objectively at every option with no preconceived notion. Then he decides what he's willing to do and not willing to do. Then he sticks to it.That's how we ended up with Ricky back, Boston back, Surtain traded for cap relief and draft pick he demanded. It's why we didn't reach for Aaron Rodgers, make a bad trade down, etc. Peerless probably will not come here, but it won't be because it wasn't investigated.

The guy can only play about 15-20 offensive plays a game. The coaches have him on a strict schedule so he doesn't get injured again. He might produce and put up some numbers but he isn't a guy who could even step up and start for us if Chambers or Booker went down.

OK... you don't have to repeatedly bash Chambers...
You made your point, and I let the comment about "nobody but fin fans think CC is a good reciever" slide... even though that's hogwash...

what do you mean you "let it slide?" That's bad to say?

I was responding to somebody that said Price was a bad reciever. You let that slide. Was that okay? Is it just against TOS to say Miami players are bad, or does it apply to all players?

Booker's stats dont jump out at me either...

his career Yards per catch average is like 11.8?

very average

Chambers and Boston(if he can stay healthy) have the most upside

He did get cut from a team that has a second year guy who only had 7 catches last year starting(jenkins) and a guy whose best NFL season was 51 catches for 656 yards(white) That doesn't say a lot about his play the last 2 years.
