I mean, the Texans never have had a winning record, and Carr often was the scapegoat. He completed 60 percent of his passes, but also threw 65interceptions and was sacked 249 times in five seasons. Houston hoped Carr would flourish under new coach Gary Kubiak last season, but the Texans went 6-10.

And about Green, he is getting too old, if we are going to bring a short term QB to this team because he is old, lets try to get Frerrotte back, at least he had a 6 game winning streak on his first season with this team...

So, my real question is why is everyone so high on Green and Carr?

i think everyone is high on them because they could teach a rookie QB that we get in the draft. i dont think they want them for the rest of their career. i think green would be a good teacher to the rookie QB and could win with the dolphins next season. we need to take care of our QB problem this year cuz our defense isnt gonna be as good in a few years from now with taylor and thomas getting close to retirement, and this is the best wat to do it.

we had gus and he didnt do anything so why would we want him back

A.J. Feeley started the season losing a few games for us, when Frerrotte was named the starter he won a lot of games including a 6 game win streak...

So I wouldn't call that "anything"

hmmm, texans?
surrounded by poor talent
expansion team(most likely means not good)
offensive line troubles
coaching staff sub par
too much on the shoulders of a rookie QB(See joey harrington)
Carr has shown that he is a good quarterback however
68 completion percentage does not lie
with a suspect run game teams would focus on pass D against the texans usually meaning better coverage off play action or just in general
he can be a good quarterback
BRING THE MAN IN!

Carr wouldn't be a teacher, he is not that old and I wouldn't like a teacher like green teaching my rookies QB's, I mean I would rather to pick another one out there if the purpose is to "teach"

Green is the perfect stopgap and tudor for a rookie.

but you have to pick a qb that can play a few years and teach and is alailable, so you can caount everyone else out but bledsoe, oh wait he cant play anymore, his career is over even though he is someone a rookie could learn from.

Carr comes from a team exactly like from where Joey came last year (last yer Lions):

*Surrounded by poor talent except of WR's
*Expansion Team
*Offensive Line Troubles
*Awful Choaching Staff With Awfull GM, Presidents etc...
*Too Much On The Shoulders Of A Rookie
*I dont think that Joey is a good QB, neither Carr (but eventhough, people was so high on Harrington last year, exactly as this years' Carr)

ETC...

So I don't understand why people doesn't think that Carr is exactly as Joey Harrington!!!!!

Look at Harrington's and Carr's stats, they are not the same. Despite playing the past few years on his back, look at Carr's completion pct...

Green would be my choice if I know we will get Quinn or Stanton. Green has played in Cam's offense and knows it well, he can start for a year or two while helping teach Quinn or Stanton. If we don't think we get either, then I sign Carr.

u know ur stuff. GUS started from week 1.

I don't think Carr was a bust in Houston. Maybe it was the line or something, but this fact remains...he completed over 60% each year for the past three years and each year since he has been in the league his %completion has risen.

He still has potential.

Exactly what I was thinking. Get Carr unless we already have a plan that will work to get Quinn, and Green to tutor him. :D

i have been saying this the whole time, take green if we draft a QB that will sit for a year at most. or take carr and draft a qb and let QB sit until carr struggles ,if he does. take quinn or russell in both situation cuz i think thay are almost ready to start in the nfl, but in the 2nd situation you could go in second third or fourth rd and get a QB.

Feeley started when Fiedler was hurt! Gus wasn't a member of the team when Feeley was there!

Dick Satan came In and released Feeley then picked up Frerrotte!
