I for one am one of the member of the "Come Back Ricky BW" and here is why. Yes he hurt the Dolphins season by retiring, but with Wanny as coach it wouldn't have turned out much different even with ricky here. For example, his 1800 yrd season and we still didn't make the playoffs. Nuff said about that I can say that most Fans here at finheaven seem to be pro Ricky. As a fin fans we have been searching for that "running game" for quite some time now maybe a bit too long. Ricky was a taste of that. When he came in he had all of us fans drooling with his skills. We all instantly worshiped the guy and with good reason. He was the first sure thing that the Dolphins had found since Dan. He was gonna be that missing element we needed. That is why people still want to see him back. I know I would.

Battered wife syndrome.

I don't understand all this love for Ricky, yet so much hate for Randy Moss.

Can you say double standard? Hell, Ricky actually causes much more trouble......

he is loved because he is the man, he is truly a good person, he just likes to smoke up sometimes who can blame him, truth is he is a very likeable guy whos funny and interesting. if i could sit down and drinkn a beer with one person i would have to consider ricky he is the man bottom line dont mess with 34

I don't really care for any of those guys, but my guess would be is because when on the field, Ricky goes about his business and gets the job done. Randy can play great, but a lot of times, he can be a nuiasance on the field. (i.e. quitting, half assing it, pouting.)

I don't think beer would be the item you guys would be consuming. :goof:

Because I Honestly Use To Feel Sorry For Dbacks Trying To Tackle Ricky Williams In The Fourth Quarter,,the Man Was A Beast

1853 yards 4.8 per carry average behind an average o-line.

he still got 1300+ with wade smith as his left tackle if i remember correctly.

if he never smokes dro/retires we may still be coached by wannstedt.

he outplayed our franchise rb last year including my favourites against the titans and chargers defenses. i loved his stiff arm right in pac-man's grille.

ricky should be a dolphin for life.

It's a shame Ricky's head isn't on straight because he could've been HOF with his skills. He got 1800 under a horrible OL. Imagine what he could've done under a proper line line Denver's or SD's. When he's on the field, he's one of the best players you can ever wish for. When he's not on the field, well, you get the picture.

i to cannot wait to see ricky absolutely ripping it up for us and being the beast he is punishing defenders and busting out those customery huge runs that he is known for. GO RICKY!

Randy Moss takes plays off.

When Ricky is on the field, he always busts his ***.

I too look forward to seeing Ricky play. I think people give him support because he is a good guy not a thug. His crimes were also of a self destuctive nature (mike dikta may disagree). He tends to recieve peoples sympathy rather then thier scorn.

agreed. plus he is very cheap at near league minimum. If he was millions of dollars I think there might be a different opinion on this board.
