Why is the dolphins-jets game on Saturday?

Seems odd and unnecessary, not complaining, still a prime time game, but I question the reasoning.

:idk: Something like a 1am kickoff for me and I have an early flight Sunday morning. I much prefer the 6pm Sunday games!

The NFL plays a couple Saturday games at the end of the season once the college season has concluded. Been doing it for years.

College Football is over. So they are getting a jump start. :hump: No J/K. The Jets and Giants both play at MetLife this week so they could not have both teams in the venue on the same day so they chose Jets on Saturday and Giants on Sunday.

Also in Week 16 13 games on Saturday, 2 on Sunday, and 1 on Monday. Week 17 are all on Sunday with no MNF.
