Why ISN"T everyone so high on Culpepper? thats the real question

hes a proven winner, hes won many games, with a below average team over the years.

IM tickled S@#$less about Culpepper, my concern however is him being the leading Qb for turnovers year after year. I hope that saban can teach CUlpepper not to fumlbe, somethign MINN could not do.

some of us have real concerns about him but we dont post about it because if you do all you get is bashed. were all big fin fans or we wouldnt be here.
go back and look at all anti culpepper threads before we got him, thats where you will find out peoples true feelings about him.now that hes one of ours no one talks about them, alot of the original people against him have turned face and do nothing but praise him. the fact is the same worries about him 2 months ago are still the same today.

Why didnt you include your post in the thread with the same question ? There is no need to start a new one.

Since you are a rookie I suggest you review this.

Posting and You.

It's not the same...it is OPPOSITE and prolly a retaliatory type thing... the other thread was less than brilliant...

well, it's only one thread every seven posts, but what the hell do I know, I only make a thread every 378 posts. I'm bored and NOT taking issue with you. promise.:cooldude:

It really isn't an issue of being 'high' on him or not ...

The fact is that he hasn't taken the field yet ... and NO ONE knows when that will truly happen.

So I would characterize it as being reserved, until Culpepper gets out on the game field and performs ...

The only concern that I voiced during the banter about whether or not the PHINS should pursue Culpepper, was his penchant for turnovers.

I believe that most folks truly realize that we are MUCH better off with a healthy Culpepper than we have been in the last 8+ years ... but rehab reports - and performance on the field are just not the same thing.

The good news is that this season 'should' be a very good one, with or without Culpepper ! [Of course, better with him at 100%]

ricky had to hide his "stuff" so he dropped it off at my house it rocks no wonder he does it all the time IM REALLY HIGH

Here's my two cents on your question.... What's there to be high on? He's PROVEN nothing, He had ONE good year with Randy. And he fumbles ALOT. Alot of people are ready to hand him a super-bowl ring and I don't know why, now I'm not player hating at all, I'm just being honest. I am excited about what I hear from his teammates like Chambers on how he stands out as a Qb from others we've had. He definatley has the skills and the abality to be really good for us but so does JH..Atleast I think so. DC and JH are in the same boat to me.. both coming from teams that didn't have the players and coaches to help them be successful(DC having the much better team and coaching.) And again people are ready to talk about how great DC will be and they doubt JH. Just don't get how people think. IF DC can keep his turnovers to a minimal then he SHOULD be really good and IF JH can learn this offense and the players AND get some confidence back he might be pretty good too. Much better than ANY QB we've had since Marino.
