ginn hasnt been huge as a wide reciever, and i expect him to get better, but one thing he can do is return kicks. i remember his rookie year he had two kick returns for touchdowns called back on penalties. at least put him back as a returner. with cobbs (really tough loss), we werent even getting past the 20 on returns, but the one time ginn took it back, we got out past the 30. its just another way to get his hands on the ball.

Now that Cobbs is out, I think Ginn will be back there on kickoffs.

He should have been there all along......Look at his one return against the Jets, he got it to like the 35 yard line whereas cobbs only got it just past the 20

ive been asking this question for about a year a and a half now theres absolutely no reason why he shouldnt be returning kicks the man can fly! he has a chance to break it everytime while cobbs did the slowest spin move alive at the 15 yard line... still love him tho that man loves to play the game no matter hat the coaches tell him to do

Probably because he's a starting WR. It's not often that starting WRs return kicks in the NFL.

why did we stop doing what we did last week with both Ginn and Cobbs back there for the reverse option? It seemed to be working quite well getting us at least an average of an extra 10 or 15 yards per return.

I'm sure they want TGJ to be fresh for offensive possessions. They certainly don't want him hurt returning a kick. Perhaps it's an issue of trying to make him a polished WR, thus not wanting him to have to concentrate on KR's during practice in the middle of the weeks.

However i think not letting him return kicks takes away the best part of his game. I'm in favor of letting him do it.
