Why Matt Flynn???

To raise the price??? To direct more interest of other teams for Flynn??? NO!!!
Why have the Dolphins tomorrow a meeting with Flynn, if Philbin would be not high on him?
For Philbin is going with Flynn a higher risk. This is the the first big decision of him as a Headcoach. If that doesn't work out, a lot of people will be mad with Philbin. So if Philbin is willing to take these higher risk, he must be very sure.

That would have made Flynn's contract sky rocket and his demand would have shot up. Think about it. Philbin was the main endorsement teams would have loved to hear, why the hell would he come out and help another team then lose out on his guy when another team offers a hell of a lot more money then Ireland wants to give him.

People will tend to bring up how good his 2 games were against the Patriots and the Lions, but they fail to realize that those 2 teams had one of the worst if not, the worst secondaries in the league.

If it weren't for the seahawks, we would be the only ones interested in him. You don;t see anyone else around the league in a bidding war for him.

I hope we keep Flynn away from Miami.

I have been watching this year for over 40 years. Matt Moore is clearly better than Flynn.

lets give Philbin a chance.....if he thinks Flynn is worth the money...then lets sign him and get it over with, hoping this doesn't drag on like the Manning episode.

WTF does this post mean? Maybe you forgot a comma or period somewhere? How can you tell if Moore is better when we haven't really seen jack **** from Flynn. Philbin knows Flynn a lot better than we do, so if he thinks he's better than Moore then I'll trust his judgement. Joe is making his bed and will have to sleep in it, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now. Let's see what happens. . .
 
Flynn the Fin finds Philbin and the Dolphins.

Matt Hasselbeck, Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre. All Packers back up quarterbacks. Hopefully Flynn follows in their footsteps. Worth a shot I would say....
