I made similar posts for the Jets and Steelers games and they were so accurate that I needed to make another. Plus we won both games.

  • Our defensive line must get pressure on Brady. Our defensive front must dominate.
  • Brady will carve us up guaranteed if given enough time in the pocket. He will make a lot of big plays and get a bunch of b.s. calls from the refs
  • Their defense and special teams always seem to make big plays.
  • This is the biggest game of the year part II, If we are even interested in being in the playoffs, we MUST beat the Pats.
  • Tannehill needs to show us what he can really do with this emerging receiving core. Getting Mike Wallace the ball deep is imperative if we wish to keep them off balance and to open up the running game.
  • Charles Clay is having a great year, he will have plenty of opportunities this weekend

  • Daniel Thomas didn't look bad last week, I don't expect a repeat performance, I hope I'm wrong.

If the Dolphins want to take the next step and be recognized as a serious contender, they have to win this game. This is the season and if that's not enough to motivate them to play their best, they don't belong in the playoff discussion.

Lets beat the snot out of them with Gillislee and the read option (assuming Miller is a no go).

Roy, I think that your assumption is incorrect. I am pretty optimistic that Lamar Miller will be good to go. Furthermore, I'd be inclined to not be afraid to throw more reps to Daniel Thomas. He's just coming off one of his very best games and he is a known confidence player.

Not really a newsflash on any of these.

This is going to be a motivated NE team that is ready to rip someone. Typical Pats....on the road, people saying they have "no chance" without Gronk and the chance to win a division. They are going to be ready to go.

Way too many people here thinking that the Pats are going to roll over or something.

Joe also has a disadvantage vs. Belichick. The coaching staffs are not close.

Who is saying they have no chance? Most of the "experts" are picking the Pats.

Not talking experts. I think people here think that Pats are a lot easier to beat than what is reality.

I have seen this "song and dance" from the Pats way too often only to be disappointed later.

They have the best coach in football and best QB. They will tough until one of goes.

Plus, I do not see the Fins as a team that is so eager to take on the big dog to knock him down a peg or two. The Ravens play with the Pats because they have not fear of them. They will continue to punch them in the lip. The Dolphins had that chance and blew a 17-3 lead and lost by double digits. I saw the meltdown in person. I still question how mentally tough the Dolphins are. It starts with leadership at the top with the HC and leaders of the team.

That's 17-3 second half meltdown is a big part of why I think they win. Olivier Vernon alluded to the disappointment in not finishing the game in NE. Based on past Dolphin teams it would be no surprise if NE gets the win but there confidence has to be up after two Dec road wins and when Gronk was out earlier, the Patriots offense was inept. Even Brady, who has created something from nothing, was struggling.

I just hope we make Brady cry.

I haven't read or heard anyone say they have no chance without Gronk. In fact, the power rankings still have them as a top 3-4 team. The reality is that the Pats are fortunate to be 10-3. At least 2-3 of their games were determined with questionable calls by the officials. The phantom PI on the last drive vs Cleveland being the most recent (we, as Phins fans can relate).
BB hasn't been all that impressive as a HC without Brady, going back to his Browns days. The reality is that the Dolphins are a more talented team, notwithstanding the QB position. How many people on this site would trade our current roster with the Pats (not including the starting QB)? I certainly would not.
IF the Phins play a clean and efficient game (with no controversial calls), they will win this game. They don't need a game of the year to beat this current Pats team, they just need a solid one.

We need to utilize wallace correctly too.

this is overly simple, but we need to send wallace deep. Talib can't keep up, and the pats will need help over the top. Once they commit the help, the running game and underneath passing to hartline and company will open up.

If we try to send Wallace on underneath routes, Talib will eat him up, and the offense will suffer.

People over think too much. We need t score more points than them. I believe we can score some points on them but I'm not sure our defense can keep NE from scoring 30 points. If we want to win I believe we'd need to score the most points we have scored this year. We'l see if we can do it.

Ozzy rules!!

Getting Wallace deep with Talib Hanging on to him like he does, might be difficult!
