Why Mora?

I just dont understand if we gave that huge extension to Dom why would we bring in another Defensive guy as head coach to have conflicting views and not adress the real problem for the last 10 yrs again....offense?


This is all based on the belief that the rumor of us already decided on Mora is true.

Don't know I'm just as puzzled as you are...Brian was a good candidate..specially with Dom Capers in place to answer any questions he may have had...It's not the end of the World...but Hiring Mora has me just as puzzled as you are..Don't know why..don't know what went on behind the scenes..but I hope Mueller, Marino and Shula were present on that 2nd interview. Something must have happened.

Mora is not a bad coach, he just screwed up the radio thing. Mike Vick ruined him in Atlanta and his team went through alot of injuries as well. The owner is a little Mike Vick lover who is overpaying his guy so someone had to take the fall, that falls on Mora.

I dont have a problem with Mora. I said earlier that I was not for him because of the radio thing, but I dont think that is something to dis his coaching abilities over. He is young, smart and will be fired up for this job should he get it. Maybe Warrick Dunn follows him here. Who knows?

I disagree!! Mora Jr. is a football guy! He grew up eating and sleeping football. I saw an interview where his dream was to have his sons grow up on the sidelines with im like he did with his dad. The guy knows the game and is a players coach. We saw how the dictatorship role worked. I like this move IF we get rid of Mularkey and revamp the offense. People are going to blame him for being stuck with Vick - c'mon!

Gailey was here and he sucks - we saw that and we all couldn't wait for him to leave - why the heck would anyone want him back!!

Out of all of the candidates Mora brings HC experience. This guy grew up breathing football - he is young and hungry - said he wants to coach another 20 years - seems like a no brainer!!

Everything u just said doesnt make Mora a good candidate.. Im sure all the candidates loved football as much as Mora has... So the guy loves football... Gailey excelled here as OC with our crappy offense.. I wana see him back here with a better offense than he had control of in 2000
