Bye the way, loved what Hickey is doing. This is really an upgrade and a potential improvement for our team. But we figured Miami needs atleast two tackles and two guards but only one tackles no guards so far. Are David Arkin, Dallas Thomas and Nate Garner been considered potential starters. Maybe a couples of low pro guys and a rook ? Any names out there ?
 
Relax. Many guards out there and allow the market to settle further.
 
We will probably look for some bargains. Beadles got overpaid. Glad we stayed away from that contract.
 
Beadles took an offer in Jax over the offer the fins gave...that would have been extra sick

Could be a few guys in the draft that they like. Let's see what happens in the next month or so before pushing the panic button.
 
We can also let the new offensive line coach work with what they already have. Bad coaching can make good players look bad. On top of that, it is only day two. Hickey is the GM, not a drunk sailor throwing money around.
 
I still believe Joseph can be had for very cheap. 1 Yr deal "prove it" type deal. Whats the worse that can happen? Get a back up Guard?
 
Day 2. Let the market settle. More players will get cut.

Guards are easier and cheaper to find than tackles and in the draft. We are only in the 2nd day. Give it time.
 
Sign Zach Strief at RT. You have Brenner (who started last year at LG) and Thomas. Draft Zach Martin for LG and one or two tackle/guard developmental players in the mid to later rounds. You are set.
