Why no guards ?

sign zach strief at rt. You have brenner (who started last year at lg) and thomas. Draft zach martin for lg and one or two tackle/guard developmental players in the mid to later rounds. You are set.

o yeah, completely forgot about sam brenner...

Let's not panic until free agency is at least 24 hours old. After 4pm all bets are off, the sky will fall!!!

Is there any realistic chance that Dallas Thomas could be a decent starting guard this year. I don't know that much about him and he didn't see the field last year when our OL was terrible.

I was asking y self the same question??? And the way starting caliber Olinemen have been scooped up in FA.... I m getting worried!

OGs can be found in rounds 2 or 3 in the draft fairly easily.

So that's why everyone has good guards because its so easy to find them in the 2nd and 3rd rounds? Or is it more like how we found the awesome John Jerry (lazy. fat. below average.) and Dallas Thomas (Is he a tackle? NOPE. Guard? Maybe. Who cares he's just fodder at this point only here due to draft status)?

We've got 2 guys worth a damn and the rest are garbage. Garner might be considered an OK backup.

We need 5 guys to block. We have like 2 and a half. I said it'd take at least 2 years to get this line right after this mess and yeah, looks that way.

Remember how long it took to nail down Grimes last spring. The market does need to cool off just a little cuz everyone's getting paid huge right now. We gotta let some players get a little desperate and see some prices coming down...or not. I want that right tackle first.

For the love of God it's the 2nd day of free agency, and there's this thing called the Draft in May.
