Why no threads about Phillip Merling?

We have multiple threads about other guys and barely any about our second choice in the draft. I'm not familiar with him, somebody fill me in on what type of player we have with this guy

he gets his own thread and talk, when he gets his arse signed on the dotted line. He's no more special than the remaining draftees we chose, and the rookie pool money is drying up. His #1 priority is to get on the team and start learning.

I wouldn't blame him at all..I would blame the person who started giving rookies who did not play 1 down 20 million signing bonus..
Of course he wants to get paid...We'll see!!

I'll answer your question since no one else will.

This kid is a horse. He was a two way started in highschool and had a great carreer at Clemson.

Many had him as a first round pick until he had surgery to repair a sports hernia (think that was it) Just as many had him tagged as top 5 D lineman available in the draft.

I'm expecting big things from this guy. Although young he will not get out flanked by anyone! He was a great pick IMO.
