Why no tosses or pitches to Ronnie Brown???

Tosses and Pitches to our RB is what seemed to get Ronnie Brown going against the blitzing Bears....the Vikings were bringing the house to rattle Joey and completely shutdown our run game....

We should've tried some tosses or pitches, that seemed to work against Chicago's Defense....I didn't see one toss attempt.
 
ronnie was playin hurt, so he was a really small part of the gameplan as it was. and when he did get the ball it didn't quite go so well.

That defender almost caught the darn pitch!!!!!!!

I hate that play almost as much as the WR screens!
 
He made the statement last week that w/ his sore groin he has a hard time running it to the outside, but is ok going up the middle. I think he looked a step slow.

plus when they tried anything outside it got stuffed.

That didn't count. That was some stupid funky toss out of the shot gun when the corner was blitzing.

that was not any ordinary pitch. It was really funky and looked ugly as hell. But ya... hardly any passes to ronnie.

ronnies hurt thats why also when we did ronnie got flattenend:eek:
 
Ronnie should have been rested this game. Saban made a mistake in having him play.

And he said particularly to his LEFT! So what do they do? His first carry is the botched handoff fumble at the goaline to the LEFT!
Then he gets that "toss pitch" out of the shot gun when he gets nailed for minus 6 to the LEFT!
How 'bout the sweep to the LEFT that he tries to reverse field and gets nailed for another minus 6.
Those 3 carries alone: minus 15 yards.

Meanwhile, Frank Gore is running like a wildman for the 49ers on 2 rebuilt knees and who's the offensive coordinator? The same guy who made Ricky a hero with his 1800 yard season: NORV TURNER. He can't head coach but he can damn sure make the running game go.
