Parcells and Ireland never really got a receiver to replace Chris Chambers. Wilford basically replaced Marty Booker.

very weak WR class .. no need to waste picks on mediocre wr's . we wait till free agency.

i dont know eithr because even saprano himself said one of the
things the team still was looking for was a #1 wr.

ADARIUS BOUMAN and JJ ARRINGTON are still on the board and
we pick again in about 15 pics or so.

that bouman [sp?] has the ability to be the best wr in this draft.

when he wants to play, he is flat out dominant. didnt have a
great combine and his senior season and senior bowl were not
wonderful either, its almost like he has lost interest. but if he
is just in a funk and gets it together he is the schnit man!!

and arrington? have no idea why he lasted this long. many
[not me] think he is better than manningham! he is a very
good wr with size but there must be something holding him
back draft wise.

never can tell, I think we will pick up someone in free agency

I'm with you - no WR is really surprising.

That's a seriously weak depth chart just posted above - and will only make life harder for the starting QB and especially Ronnnie.

If you're a D playing Miami, no reason you don't stack 8 in the box.

The truth is this. There were no studs, and the mid-level guys were reaches in rounds two and three. Then, we felt (I assume) that the guys on day two werent much better than the guys who would be available as UDFAs.

I wouldn't have objected to a WR, but I think we needed a CB more. A street FA could always win the 5th WR job, but good CBs are harder to find, IMO.

This was a terrible WR class. Maybe they've seen enough improvement from Ginn and Hagan this offseason to count on them more heavily. Tab Perry could be a factor, too. And Camarillo really did look decent in the last couple of games.

1.Ginn 2. Wilford 3. Hagan 4. Perry 5. Camrillo

After the 1st two, the others are barely adequate and should be on the scout team.

Ginn still needs to get better at his route running and I'm not sure that we go into the season with him as one of our consistent go to guys.

I really have to believe that we'll make some sort of move via a trade for a WR.....heck, Terry Glenn can still out perform what we have on this team and maybe Parcells should try to get him
