Gus Bradley was a pretty good defense coordinator in Seattle and I think I remember a pretty good defense up there...

I realize the the buzz is Matt Burke the current lbs coach to be promoted and help keep system in place.

how important is that vs brining in a guy w successful coordinator experience

the wade phillips fantasy is silly IMO because he is a 3-4 coach and we are far from 3-4 ready

thoughts about vance's replacement as it looks like he will get one of the many spots open and expressing interest?!?

What makes you think we are 4-3 ready? We need at least 2 LBs and a DE for that system. Those selections could just as easily be applied to transitioning to a more versatile defensive scheme.

Bradley also runs a 4-3 Under which is closer to the 3-4 than the standard 4-3 so in essence Bradley is apart of that "fantasy".
 
we don't need anymore first time dc i hasn't worked. it didn't work with coyle & it didn't work with joseph.
 
Whom ever is choosen, they need to make some mighty good lemonaid out of the lemons they're working with!! Last good defense I could remember was with Mike Nolan.

I like Bradley then I'm preferential to an aggressive 4-3 (Seattle).

Wade's version of the 3-4 is more like 5-2 which is a decent fit for Miami's current personnel.

We run the aggressive 4-3. Seattle runs a 4-3 Under which is a hybrid of the two schemes incorporating both 1 and 2 gap principles on the DL
 
ESPN Broncos reporter Jeff Legwold considers Falcons OC Kyle Shanahan to be the "front-runner" for Denver's head-coaching job.
Most have Dolphins DC Vance Jospeh pegged as the favorite, but he left town Wednesday morning after spending Tuesday wining and dining with John Elway after his formal interview for the job. Joseph is traveling to meet with the Chargers and 49ers the next couple days. It's possible the Broncos are simply waiting it out with Shanahan since the Falcons are still in the playoffs. i don't know what to believe...someone's lying.
 
Shanahan, a guy who never won in the playoffs and moves around from team-to-team more than any other coach in the NFL, except his father.
 
Ok maybe scheme wise it's not that diff. I do like the idea of experience after the last few years. Isn't wade still employed anyway?

Also what's the deal with the guy Gase was linked to in the past "fangio" (may have it wrong) but I think passed on the San Fran gig cause they denied him. Is he an option? What's his experience
 
Why on God's Green Earth would we want to keep our current system in place??!!! We were absolutely horrible!!!
So glad that it looks like Joseph is leaving!!!
