Why not Justin Miller the guy is a bit undersized but he is 24 and can learn but besides him being a corner he is also an excellent kick returner and i would like to be dangerous on special teams not saying anything against Ginn but he is better Wr than KR and should work more on that

In the Draft if we do get Miller i doubt it but hope so because Eric Green is not the solution (Please Don't Sign Him) We should go after a tall Cb

my guess is he is not an upgrade

why we didn't sign Bodden? that I don't know

I was actually thinking about this the other day.

The fact is, he just plain is not a very good corner. He has played in 42 games at CB has yet to record an INT and only 1 FF.

He is just a return man. And a damn good one at that.

true about the corner part but with a real chance at actually playing cb with the Dolphins and he is 24 i think he can fit in

His Speed make him a weapon to catch up to a wr, return picks, and can become a pass rusher

His Size doesn't help but he can jump so he makes up for his size

Hey did you know last year the Dolphins tried to get him after the Jets let him go but he went to the Raiders lol I really don't know why

Plop him in as a 3rd or 4th CB and make him our primary return man.

I don't know about you guys, but I could do without Bess and Cobbs as our return specialists.

justin is a horrible cover corner , but i wish we would have made a move for bodden or mcfadden and now lucas

We have Bess and Ginn for speedy little receivers, and Cobbs, Bess, and Ginn for returning, I don't think we need to add another one to the mix

Darius Butler is a KR. Why not get a shutdown corner and a good KR in the draft?

We tried to claim him during the regular season, when the Jets cut him to sign Ty Law... The Raiders got dibs since they had a worse record than us and he winded up busting a long return against us, Higgins also helped on ST that game.

Miller could give us a solid backup fast cb guy.. it's always good to have 2 solid cbs and some tall and speedy specialists, he can cover a fast receiver decently...

He isn't a great cb though...

I think we'll draft 1-2 cbs and if we get one, sign a FA post draft..

Don't get me wrong I love Ginn, Bess and Cobbs but look at the facts. Last year alone Justin Miller Returned 2 Kickoffs for TD's. We had 0. And that was for the Raiders and not a full season. This guy used to be very dangerous for the Jets as well. I think he is a huge upgrade at the KR spot and PR possibly. Doesn't add a lot in the Coverage department but is only 24 and Bowles could coach him up and make him decent.

One of you mention that Darius Butler returns Kicks. Though this might be true if he is our starting CB and we are putting our eggs in that basket do you really want him returning kicks when and injury could really dampen our secondary? I don't know that I am on board with that idea. I think Cobbs is the best KR we have right now. Ginn always heads for the sidelines and needs to focus on WR anyway. Bess dances a little too much and needs to focus on WR as well. Cobbs hits the hole hard and can break tackles and isn't as vital to the offense as Ginn and Bess. I guess that could be debated but he is not a starter. He was very productive last year too but I think you get my point.
