4th and goal from the 1/2 yard line. That fade to hartline will go down as one of the worst play calls I've ever seen, not only on this team, but in the NFL. If you went to Marshall I'd still hate the call, but Id understand it maybe a little more.

But just pound the ball. IMO LJ should have been brought in and given a chance to find the end zone. Or at least for a play fake. Everyone in the building knew Bush wasn't getting the ball. This team lacks a hard runner inside the 20. It could kill us. But we could have one in LJ. Give him a shot.....its better than a fade to Hartline.
 
Yep...that was a historically bad call. Even with a great play action, that play had no chance.
 
Cause LJ hasn't played in 2 years and he isn't very good. He will probably be cut this week if Thomas is healthy
 
the play on the 1/2 yard line needed to be a sweep to Bush, or a sneak by Henne. Running a fade (very difficult play to execute) with a crappy wr was a terrible play call without a doubt.

I also did not like throwing 1st and goal from the 2 yard line in the first quarter when Henne got sacked.

All in all, one thing is common with these two plays- Dolphins dont have a goal line runner the team trusts. Hopefully Thomas will be that guy, but I dont trust Thomas based on him not being able to get in on goal line plays in the pre season. He has shown nothing to me. If not him, we NEED somebody to fix this problem. I really liked the offense yesterday, but not having a goal line back we could trust will cost us a lot as the season goes on
