Why Not Release Fales And Pickup Ba Lb?

I don't really see where it matters if the team keeps 3 or 4 qbs or a extra linebacker or lineman if the end result is they're going to be inactive on Sunday anyway. The way I look at it is you have 10 practice squad spots and 7 inactive spots. That's a total of 17 players that can practice during the week and then will sit Sunday. If they're sitting on Sunday what difference does it make if it's a qb or another position. The main goal should be to have enough players in those 17 and the regular active roster to get you though the week and then you can juggle the back end of the roster throughout the season as needs present themselves.

I guess just wishful thinking that a top 5 defensive team would be stacked at LB and would be an immediate upgrade over the 29th teams biggest need.

I think if a linebacker becomes available that is an upgrade over what we have that it would make just as much sense to sign that linebacker and release one of the useless ones you have.

I honestly cannot see us carrying 4 QBs on the roster very far...

Peeps are using the excuse it's only "bottom of the roster" but that ONLY matters if there's NO ONE on the street (or on any other teams PS) that would offer more value than carrying 4 QBs!

Wha?

Hope we move on from either Ox or Fales (most likely Fales).

I like the addition of a young prospect (Falk) and carry 1 viable backup.

Is Falk PS eligible? Fales and Os are not

From the last couple days of reading info and team quotes linked around here I think Gase intends to keep both guys, not just waiting to see what pops up.

There aren't many good lb walking the streets waiting to be picked up. It doesn't work that way.

Scooby Wright is slower than continental drift.

Yeeeah, I was a fan of his in college, but he’s the perfect example of a very good college player who lacks the speed to transition to the NFL.
