Why not Resign Rex Hadnot?

Nobody has signed him yet so y not try and resign him we need another Gaurd so he can Come Play LG for us what would you guys think if we brought him back to Play LG

I'd be fine with it for the right price. I dont know how into him the staff is, they have appeared completely uninterested in hadnot so far.

because he wants 5+ million a year.....if he doesn't get that in FA...then there's a chance we'll bring him back in the fold for cheaper. He wants top dollar but he isn't worth it, although versatile he is average.

If he comes back and says he will play on a cheap one year deal, then sure. But he is nothing special and not worth his asking price.

In todays market $5mil is not big money for a cat like Rex IMO.

If we lose him we'll have yet another piece lost from the puzzle --- and the freakin puzzle is already beyond obscure!

They obviously saw something in Rex they didn't like or they would have offered him a contract. I doubt money was the problem unless we wanted to get paid like Faneca. Trust in Tuna my friends, he knows what he is doing.

He is just not Parcells type of player otherwise his agent would have received some action from the Dolphins which he has not. Regarless of the production of a players Bill P and company are targeting certain types of players and if they do not fit that mold they are out which is where R. Hadenot is at with the Dolphins. There a still quite a few of those types of young players still on the Dolphins roster that Bill would love to get rid of in a minute but is stuck with because they are still signed to contracts and he cannot afford to at this point. Expect more releases through this season and the next as the opportunities present themselves from Miami.

cuz he sucks how many threads on this guy do we need and how many times do i have to say he sucks? he cant pass protect. he cant hold off DT he always gets overpowered and his footwork is very bad. oo and in the run game he is very inconsistent.

Yeah I thought the guy was AWFUL at center the year before as well (how many times did he get run-over??? terrible). The guy is just a body, and certainly not worth anything more than 2 million a year for depth. We signed the guard we wanted OBVIOUSLY, and for the same money. Plus I think Rex signed in Seattle. If you don't remember the previous coaching staff saw the same thing by the way. Thats why we drafted a center to begin with and talked about the inside out etc. How many times did they try to replace the guy in training camp as well???? We didnt have anybody that could step up tho....
