It would still cause confusion, and it would give us another option other then mainly just running.

IMagine if we had a QB like Michael Vick for this system, taht would be insane.

But ya, have ronning line up to the left, put him in motion and just have pennington take the snap, he can either hand it off or pass it, and occasional, run it up the middle to keep the defense confused a bit.

We ran that play, and we will run that play, again. The play I remember had Ricky Williams in motion, though.

And one reason that you don't do that -- it doesn't affect the defense in the same manner. When you take the QB out of the box, you need one extra defender there to account for both running backs. Someone else covers the QB; you can't leave him out there alone. When Ronnie Brown has the ability to pass, and they already almost threw with Ricky Williams, you see matchup problems on defense. Add to that the pitch to Pennington then throw to Cobbs. We keep adding dimensions of this offense.

Look on the bright side. We put up 28 points. They had some great plays on special teams, and we need to get better in the secondary.

Hey I have a great idea. What if we ran the Wildcat where we snap it to Pennington and he hands it off to Brown and he runs it.

Vick??? So you want us to go entire games using this as our base offense??? Get real. You cant play using that offense the entire game. There are only about 10-15 plays we can run out of it.

Its a good tool to keep the defense off balance and give them something else to think about. It makes game planning tougher for teams. Thats all. You have to be able to line up in a regular offense and move the ball. And we cant put Pennington at Ronnies position in it. Pennington isnt a threat to run with it. Get real.

if you had Michael Vick at QB is would be completely Diffrent and that would just be a shotgun anyways

the op isn't entirely off... we did run a package today with pennington in the wildcat, it's a little further back than a normal shotgun and the two rb's are in diff positions. he handed the ball off to ricky on that play who was in motion the same as if we were running the wildcat with ronnie back there. no need to bash him...

10-15 plays that Michael Vick probably couldn't even memorize or run correctly anyway.
