forget about all the questions saban would have to answer. forget about the $20 mil gauranteed we gave ronnie or that he started the first 2 games. forget about everything but this sunday. shouldn't we start the guy that gives us the best chance to be successful? well, that guy RIGHT NOW is sammy morris. our line has been ok, but they certainly haven't parted any seas. i think morris can do more with less blocking than brown can RIGHT NOW because ronnie hasn't adapted to the speed of the game yet and sammy has shown the ability to make something out of nothing (4+ ypc last year and 6+ ypc this year).

Because he doesnt give us a better chance to win. Ronnie Brown is faster stronger and will eventually be much much better than Morris. All it takes is one big game and its all downhill from there. This week just may be that game. Just because Morris has done ok in the few carries he has had doesnt mean he should be the starter. He is not a good back.

nah nick said today in his PC everyone was good to go

Yeah, but hes not 100 percent and he didnt start practicing for this game until today.

If Brown stinks against Carolina on Sunday, and Morris does well- then there will be a good chance that Morris becomes the starter.

Why not start Morris this sunday?

Because he doesn't have half the talent that Ronnie Brown does.

Starting Morris Sunday would be the worst move possible for Brown's psyche and confidence right now. He knows that he hasn't played to his full potential and he's ready to prove the naysayers wrong. He's our back for years to come, so sitting him down will only hinder his development. What a horrible idea.

the horrible idea was starting ronnie week 1. THAT was the horrible idea. he obviously wasn't and isn't ready. morris should have started and ronnie should have spelled him for about 5-8 carries.

Totally disagree. Nick made the call, and out there he went! He isn't going to learn from the bench! This is a learning process. Be Patient. Support him! He and the team needs us now to support them, not to kick them down! Keep the Faith!:beerbang:

Bench him for Ricky, Not morris, but if he plays poorly put sammy in and see if he provides a spark
