He has to have some value for TE needy teams let's face it we are pretty solid at te with clay, egnew ,masturd

There's a 99 Percent chance fasano won't be back next year its the last year of his current deal

What you guys think

No thanks. I don't think there's a team out there willing to trade a WR which will give us the production that Fasano will give us this year.

Fail, stop hating on Fasano. I love this guy, and always have. Hes a beast. Who do you want taking his spot LES BROWN?

Plus Tannehill raves about A-Fa

I say we sign Burress. Too bad Ocho Crapo killed all the juice for any other "troubled" FA WR being signed by the Phins this year.

PS Keep Fasano in case Egnew doesn't work out.

Besides 1 game vs Atl several years ago, Fasano has been money. In the right system, with a very good QB, he could be a borderline game changer. He's got surprising athleticism for a guy of his size and power (ie. TD vs Jets 2008). He an elite blocker as TE, which makes him that much more dangerous when he does run a route. With that said, I've been dying for an ultra-athletic TE to complement him for years, which we may have found in Clay.

We need a te that can block. Also stop sleeping on the guy his numbers will jump

Fasano is incredibly valuable to this team and has been a trusty servant in his time here. His all-round game is priceless. Given good GB play, and the WC offence, he could really blossom.

Need him as a key blocker too. Too valuable for us right now if we wish to keep the rook qb on his feet some.

Because he is the only tight end we have who can block

Not to knock the OP, but I do not understand why people seem to dislike Fasano so much. For years now people have been knocking the guy when he has been one of the few consistant players on the team. Is he dynamic? Not really, but he does everything well - block, catch and route running. He is the only proven TE we have right now on the roster and I have have feeling no matter who is at TE, he will be using the TE a lot.

That's exactly what i think fakespike, :brewskis:

P.S. The TEs are an important part of the WCO. We need more than we have of proven talent at the position, actually.

Glad to see opinion is starting to swing back the other way on Fasano.

Sheesh, the guy has one nightmare game & it takes years for people to get over it. :idk:

Fasano has been under-appreciated for years. He's actually one of our MVPs. His success having lined up on the opposite side of David Martin should provide enough encouragement regarding his upside in a smart precise, short passing WC offense . A few weeks ago, the morons over on TGG were creaming in their panties over the pipedream of him being cut and signed by the clown circus. Please cease and desist with these Maddeneque kinds of mental masturbation!

Keep Fasano we need him on the field maybe more than ever ATM.
