Ross...he is an idiot when it comes to football. We are in "football hell" as long as this guy is the owner.
 
Our only hope is that Marino storms the boardroom, slams Ross against the wall and demands he conduct a PROPER GM/Coach search or sell the team...
 
Marino was hired wasn't he? I hope that maybe, just maybe Dan can talk some sense into Ross.
 
Philbin has presided over this team becoming a laughingstock. Sure, it was terrible when Cam Cameron was the coach. But Cam Cameron wasn't the head coach for a locker room-related debacle that caused this franchise's reputation to be destroyed. So, he is a horrible leader of men and a horrible football coach. Period.
 
Like Tannehill, Philbin's record as the coach speaks for itself.
 
At this moment, all I care about is not seeing Tanny throw another pass. He's the guy out there just killing drives.
 
No way Philbin stays without a playoff run this year, especially if Haurbaugh becomes available.

Philbin is not an awful coach, just extremely mediocre, 7-9, 8-8, probably another 6-10 or 7-9 season. He's nothing special. Time to move on. Even Ross could see that.

Philbin may or may not be a decent coach. His downfall is the hiring of Sherman which forced him to align his fate to Tannehill. If he values his job, he starts Moore this week.
 
I just hope Ross has the balls to fire Philbin during the season. Make Lazor interim HC and get our first choice for head coach next yr as soon as they become available.
 
I have Deja Vu back to the Sparano/Ireland years. We were calling for them to be fired every year. Ross doesn't have the balls to fire philbin.
 
Given the track record of hires, will it matter? Exit Philbin and enter whatever hotshot coordinator HC wannabe....

Maybe at least Dan will "advise" him the right way and tell him to clean house at the end of this season.
