I know that he is a good player and a ace on special teams but do we really need him?:dolphins:

One year deal, low salary, if he gets beat out of a job in camp then he just gets cut. No reason not to sign him really:)

Didn't you pretty much just answer your own question. He's signed to a minimum.

Sucks pretty hard that Minor's rep was ruined in a god awful 2004 season. We are talking about a guy who had a very solid rookie year but the coaches never backed him up. Was always solid catching the ball out of the backfield and honestly made more sense as the '3rd down' back.

You answered your own question "Ace on special teams", and emergency backup if R&R go down.

You said it already. He's a special teams stud.

Still a good special teams player and a third down back

I dont think he wil lmake the final roster

Yeah, Ricky Williams will beat him out. Oops, almost forgot Ricky will probably not play this year. Conclusion: Miner makes the team.

yeah i like minor i thought he should of got more carries in 2004 i think he has good skills and brings extra value to our team even if he dosent get 1 carry all year

he plays on all the special teams. KO's, KO returns, punts, punt returns, FG's, XP's... you need to keep a guy like that around if he's affordable.

Minor has always been a solid player for us. Their is absolutely no reason not to resignn him. He is a solid back-up running back and special teamer who cares about the team and gives all he has every time.
