i really dont relly recall anyone saying they would like him to start and are high on him, do some research before you speak for the rest of us man

Dont worry i completely agree with you. I dont even think he deserves the 3rd string spot! He has done NOTHING to prove otherwise!

I think the reason for that is fans see our qb situation the last few years, and how bad it was, and the only other option is to let sage play and see what he can do, he could be surprising, he probably isnt anything special but as a fan you always want to hope for something good.

It will be this way again this year. Maybe Marino will find the fountain of youth and come back next year! That would stop all the fuss.

I personally think our QB's will look like this

1) Feeely
2) Frerotte
3) Berlin

We resigned Sage to another year didnt we? I guess that doesnt mean he has to be our 3rd qb but it would seem that way.

i have been on this site over 2 years and i can remember plenty of sage supporters so i have done a little research when we get r qb i think this team will b ready 2 roll.
think of all the qb we let go by in the draft and free agency

Sage wasn't too bad in that game he actually lokked real comforatble early but that didn't last long. I think if Feeley started Miami would have beaten Baltimore.

sage actually looked like he had something when he was with washington but since he has been here there hasnt been nothing but talk by the ex coaches.

wouldnt it be crazy if the coaching staff falls in love with sage, he starts the season and lights the nfl on fire! to bad things like that dont happen for us only for other teams.

I think the majority of Sage bandwagoners base their enthusiasm on the fact that AJ hasn't been able to show anything and Ears was, well Ears...

Realizing that Ears was a Wanny do-boy and could do no wrong in his eyes, if Sage couldn't beat Ears out in 2 years, how would anyone expect him to be anything ?? I also just don't see enough for him to be a challenger...although, he does have a strong arm, but doesn't seem to have any game savvy. He has trouble reading defenses. Also remember that any success he has had with the Fins (sans the one pass last year), has been in TC against scrubs....

People want Sage for the same reason people want AJ. Sage was actually drafted ahead of AJ I believe but got stuck behind Jay and our crappy system. Coming out of college teams obviously thought Sage had something - so much so he was drafted a round ahead of AJ - so if AJ is the next Peyton, what could Sage be?

draft position is meaningless.....unless you are arguing that Todd Blackledge was better than Dan Marino

when did he have a chance to prove himself ? you mean in 1 start in week 17 against one of the better defenses in the cold on the road, he should have played lights out after all this time on the bench ?
