Why so much passing on 3rd and 2 ?

For a team with a terrible OLine, It kills me to see empty back field on every third and short. Why is that ?

Because our running game sucks. I hate every play being out of shotgun. The best runs are 3rd and 2 out of shotgun and pitch it to Miller 2 more yards backwards so it's essentially 3rd and 8+

Because we didn't get to third and one! That's when we go to our bread and butter shotgun rb up the middle for a loss of 2.

This is sad, I wanted Tevin Coleman so bad in the draft. That guy would be the best rb in this class

I so miss having a fullback....the spread option only works if you have a real running QB........

Have you seen our run blocking up front? I guess they figure that we have a better chance completing a pass out of the shotgun with a jail break blitz than we do gaining two yards with our rbs getting hit as soon as they get the ball.
