Here are the reasons the Dolphins will be 0-3 after the Browns game

*Cleveland uses a lot of the 2 TE sets which the Dolphins have struggled with for years. The Dolphins may be without some starters which I get into later that will make match ups more difficult for Miami's pass D.

*Defensive injuries. Looks like Dansby (Groin), Starks (Leg), McDaniel (Hand), and Davis (Hamstring) will be out or limited in this game. That paired with very poor safety play means the Browns can be a very balanced offense. MLB's for Miami are very weak with Burnett showing he can not shed blocks so expect to see plenty of Hillis in this game with the "Hurry Up" offense to wear down our already thin defense.

*The Dolphins offense continues to struggle in the red zone. It was very apparent against the Pats that the Dolphins could not run the ball inside the 20. It was also apparent against the Texans that the Dolphins can't pass the ball inside the 20.

*There is a trend, particularly with this team, that when the score is close, this team folds. There is no killer instinct, it just seems like the players are waiting for something bad to happen. Almost expecting it. I think Sporano was hinting at this when he was talking about player mind set he said, "you have go into a game and to expect to win." Unfortunatly, this does not happen over night, it may not happen this season and until this team starts winning that mind set will only get worse.

Your thoughts.....

You're probably right. I have no idea how our run defense will hold up this week. Cleveland will likely have that and the short passing game going for them. This game is going to most likely be on our offense, can Henne and the passing game get it done, probably not.

He's on the verge of losing the team, if he hasn't already. We all can see it. If we lose to the Browns this whole house of cards will collapse at the drop of a hat. Vegas has us as 3 point underdogs in Cleveland, boy oh boy.

i think the dolphins will win
because they play better on the road
and the possibility of going 0-3 will make them want to win hopefully..

all that's nice, but long as Sparano's HC,the Phins wont win any meaningful games....

LOL I love that SNL skit!!

This should annoy the negative nellys, this will be my new staple pic for a while, when I see haters and downers!!!! I will just reply with this!!! It should be called Dolphin Downer though

We are the dolphins...the new age lions, bucs and bungles of the current era...that's why we lose to Cleveland. Miami will win when we get an owner and F.O. that is competent then we will return to relevance..

You can take the Lions off the list for now. Have you seen the new look Lions? They have a legitimate franchise QB, playmakers all over the place, pass rushers, etc. That team is a playoff team this year

The only argument you will get from me is that Sparano, not the players, are at fault for keeping the score close and trying to win in the end. This is the same mentality that Wanny had. Playing it close to the vest.

Yes instead of being realistic we should all wear cheerleader uniforms, wave pom poms and consider breast implants :bobdole:

agree i wish the dolphins were the lions ..
heck the lions just might make the playoffs

Your right our defense is in for a long day.

Our passing was good vs Pats. Our rushing was good vs texans.

I say they finally put it togather and out score the Brownies 31- 24

then it gets easy , San Diego and the f***ing Jets.
