Why The Fins Win

Not to many people look deep inside to find something other than what transpired on Oct 19, 2008. In 2009, there are differences in this game from that one.

1. The Crowd. A true sell-out with everyone jacked for a playoff game in how many years? Flacco is a rookie. Everyone has written it off that he is not. I do not think he will have as easy a time as the first go round. I think his coaches and media and fans have them all believing he is king no matter what.

2. Jason Ferguson and the much improved run defense. We were still finding ourselves in that first one. The DB's are playing with much depth and understanding on the run and the pass. Joey Porter not getting a sack is not really relevant here in the big picture. What is is that we stop those RB's. Everyone thinks this D is average at best. But we know better. This defense has made plays and you know damn well they have a plan to get into the rookies head.

3. Chad's INT for a pick-6. I do not see that this time. I can see Chad throwing one INT possibly, but not for six points and not when we are deep in our end zone. That pick-6 was a game-changer.

I do not know who will win this game, but I do know, that the turnout will not look like the first one, which just about every media person says will.

1) The Crowd will be big you are dead on there... Not only in firing our boys up but also in getting to Flacco.

2) Ferguson will make a difference but we need the D to step up big time... Flacco needs to get pressure from a variety of places... Creative blitz packages, keep the rookie guessing and SURE TACKLING!!!!!!!!

3)ALL pick sixes are daggers to the heart... Chad HAS to play mistake free... In fact I think the ALL of the Dolphins need to play mistake free, this is a team that FEASTS on turnovers... penalties are crucial, we cannot give them free yards.

I'm with you, I actually like our chances as we are a team that matches up to them pretty well and we don't have to do anything we are not good at to win. We need to play disciplined and smart, two qualities we have shown we posess in spades.

One big reason I think we will win is because Dolphin Stadium is going to be JAM PACKED today. I suspect you'll see every Dolphins fan in the stadium yelling their heads off for the whole game.

If you are going to the game you are EXPECTED to come home with a bit of a sore throat because of your yelling. I want to see the Dolphins FANATICS at the game in face paint, masks, crazy wigs, and signs ... all that stuff.
