Why is everyone so down on Cadillac? I have a special feeling about him and I really feel he will be the best of the big 3. Some say he lacks ideal size, the sites I looked at had him listed at around 5'11 and 205-210 lbs. He can pack just a few pounds on and he will be solid. Ricky was around 5'11 225lbs right? Lets not let a superb combine workout fool us all, lots of players have performed well at the combine only to fail in the NFL. Williams just has game skills, look at the way he runs, look at his vision they all standout above the other 2. Vision could quite be the most important thing for a successful RB. This guy just seems special. While I like Brown also and he is impressive, I can't help but remeber that he has always played 2nd fiddle to Cadillac. Here's my vote for Cadillac.

I also like Caddy, (I like Benson the best though) but I don't understand why everyone is so high on Brown and so low on Caddy.

I don't know about you but with that last name . Miami hasn't had a whole lot of luck with rb's named Williams.:roflmao:

And then if you look at his first name or nickname of cadillac. its not something i want out of a running back. Personally I want someone who has a smashmouth name. Like we had with Spikes or Diesel. :D

To me cadillac makes me think of somebody who is lazy and is only out for money.

My 2 cents, Caddy will be the best of the three. Benson will be very very solid if in the right system and will produce year in and year out. Brown will be very solid as well but not produce as many yards rushing as the other two, but he has the receiving skills so probably have alot more catches, esp. alot mroe the Benson.

As for Caddy, He already has put on weight, he is up to 217lbs. I agree completely that vision is the most important tool for a RB to have, and he has amazing vision and quickness. He also has very good break away speed, and has shown he can catch better than was believe. With the added weight and more working on his blocking he will be an all around back in this lead and I feel will tear up this league for many years to come.

We also havent had a whole lot of luck with RB's from Texas.....
So you want Irving Spikes back or Cecil "diesel" Collins?? Good call with going for the RB with the name!!!

We wont have a smashmouth running attack this year, Wadball is over. Pounding it on first, second, and third down is out the door. As much as we all loved to watch Ricky pound it away, that style is over and it is time for a new era.......

with Caddy!!

yeah Im not really sold on many of these backs personally. And especially not with our number 2 pick. but if we traded down . i guess i would be ok with one of the 3 . Unless there is still one of the Qb's still to be had with whatever pick we had availible.

See I am just not sold on the QB's in this first round, I am all for trading down and nabbing on of the three backs, just hoping it would be Caddy.

Nothin wrong with Caddy. If anything if we do draft him and he takes number 34 it will save a few fans some bucks from having to burn there jerseys lol. Isnt that enough incentive to draft him lol!

Any of the top three backs would be good choices. I think Brown is more versatile as a slot reciever but we are drafting a RB not a reciever. I think the only knock on Caddy is as a blocker, wont matter though if he is carrying the ball and making people miss. Add to that the play action that could form around him. Dont get me wrong I am no more a fan of Caddy as I am the other backs in the draft!

I have no problem with Caddy except taking any RB at 2 is a mistake imo. IMO theres a lot to be said for being a very consistant starter for in college but RB's have terrible shelf lives and you dont build an offense around them. If youre picking where we are you want an impact guy there; a Qb, a wr...positions that are harder to find studs at. Every year though there are rbs found on day 2 that end up emerging as good players. Dominick Davis, Brian Westbrook and Rudi Johnson are some more recent examples

I don't think anyone's knocking Caddy. IMO people just want us to take Smith or Brown at 2, and if we trade down any of the 3 RBs.

Please no RB with the no. 2 pick! We need a real QB, not Philly's bench warmer.

I read an article about caddy and his hand size. They said his hands are so small he's more than likely going to have serious fumbling problems in the NFL.

I bet you won't find 5 posters who are "DOWN" on Caddy. Not anyone with knowledge anyway. Some just prefer one of the other two, yet would still be elated if somehow they can trade down, and still get any one of the top three backs.

About the second fiddle, whom I slightly prefer. Well, his vision led him to more big plays than either of the other two so he can't be that bad ayyy. ;)

It's not like these guys are just learning how to run. All three of them were hgihly saught after coming out of High School, and they're doing the same thing coming out of College. The all run instinctively, within their own style.

I think all three will have success, but I doubt they'll be as good as Ricky, or even the best there is now. Thousand yards plus (1300 yds) rushers for sure. The best part about them, besides running, is all three seem to be team players.

So I would be slightly down on a Rb at the two slot, no matter who. Down maybe, but I surely won't be naggin if they pick any one of the three.
