Why the love for Clemons

I don't understand why people on here think Clemons is worth anything more then a 2nd string injury filler, he made zero plays last year and I'm also pretty sure he was the biggest loafer on that play where we almost lost to the steelers, guys a joke give me Delmas anyday
 
Everyone's disappointed because there were Byrd rumors. It's like getting a used Toyota after going to the Porsche dealership.
 
People like Clemons because his ability is known. People don't like Delmas because we don't know what we are getting. Neither mean anything about the players' actual ability.
 
Ugh, why does this need to be explained so much.

Clemons isn't great, he's good-decent. He is safe, has range, is the qb of our D, can tackle well, he just has terrible ball skills. He is a much better fit for our defense. People on here seem to think we need superstars at every position

People complaining that Clemons is not a play maker while true, he does not get plays made on him.

He he is the play it safe and smart type, make the high percentage play type.

People le say he is invisible on the field. That's good for some players, or would you rather have the Nolan Carrol oh **** I just got tosted again face.

I will say some are just nervous because of the unknown in Delmas
 
Clemons sucks. There are some positions where you don't want to hear their names, like corner and tackle. Then there are positions where you want to hear the players name as much as possible like linebacker or safety. There have been stretches of 3 or 4 games where I didn't hear Clemons name mentioned a single time -- not good for a free safety.

Sucks so bad him and Jones best safety tandem in the league two years ago.
 
Not sure Delmas is an upgrade over Clemmons. Noone does atm

Drops easy picks, crap in run support, and doesn't lay the wood when he tackles. No receivers fear him. Oh yeah. And derp derp.

I'll hand you he drops picks, but not to go too traditional, SS is the run support lay the hard hits guy. Hence why Jones played in the box most of the season.
