Why the players aren't responding to the coaches,IMO

I really think Saban comes off as condescending to the players. (Much like he does with the media) and the players simply do not like it. The other thing he tries to do is use reverse pschology on the players. Unfortunately, a smart player doesn't buy it and it tends to piss people off. This isn't college anymore coach. I think Saban is losing this team. Most of these guys were set in their ways. That's why it's important for Saban to purge this team at the end of the year and completely rebuild this team. If he continues to try to FIX this broken team, then he will have a short NFL career. It's time to just accept a few losing seasons and see where we can go or we can watch Saban hang on desperately, try to attain mediocrity and then become an NFL has been.

We just dont have enough playmakers. Our "good" players never deliver in the clutch. I think we will be fine next year when Saban gets rid of a few players and gets a few more. I mean what has Randy McMichael ever done here really? Besides drop key passes every game?

Certainly looks like we have to clean house and start over. The core of this team has never done anything but underachieve and disappoint. As a football team, you're only as good as your core players. Unfortunately, it appears that our core stinks.

this may be true for some players but the core of this team loves saban and the kind of coach he is.every interview i've read and heard on nfl radio the players have nothing but tremendous respect for saban and his knowledge.

I actually loved that game. I was pissed cause we lost a game I thought we should have won but I loved the fact that the previous weeks everyone was saying start Sage I mean it can't get any worse. Really?
