I don't understand? The Saints were lining up for a field-goal at the end... what was Sparano trying to do, ice the kicker from the HALF YARD LINE? Unbelievable. All a timeout did was allow the Saints to think more about going for a TD.

That just cost us 4 points and a boat load of momentum.
 
i dunno but mark my words that will cost us the game
 
I don't think he was trying to ice him at all.
It looked like there was a little bit of confusion between some of the special teams players and he didn't want to risk a penalty/10 men out there....

either way, I'm furious that they used a time out.
I instantly knew they would go for it, and then they cut to Brees convincing coach to go for it.
 
completely agree.. im steaming right now, he better ****ing hope we win or loose by more than 4. rediculous what a dumb F*CK. on top of that the clock was at 5 seconds and was going to keep running once the ball was active! he is a joke. next rex ryan? that motha fuka
 
Agree 100%. I saw Sporano motioning on the sideline for the timeout and was yelling WTF !!! BONEHEAD. BTW Bess DIDNT fumble so the play shouldnt have happened anyway.
 
That has to be one of the dumbest coaching moves Ive ever seen. Im not kidding. If the Phins go 3 and out or no pts to start the 2nd half, watch the Saints offense come alive. Im still in shock at how stupid Tony Sparano is.
 
I am a fan Tony's but that was as stupids a move as I have ever seen.

you guys are making too big a deal out of this,as the saying goes,

its better to be safe,then sorry....

and we all know in the end,Sparano was just trying to be safe,so chill...
 
he had his fother mucking head up his a.s.s. he gave them 4 points and momentum. good fkuing job douche bag. this is something u expect to see from rex ryan.
 
he may not be stupid in general but he couldnt have made a more stupid decision.. whos team is he on? by my calcualtions he has scored 40% of the points the saints have.. thats HUGE! also, him and this team getting off to slow starts in the seasons first couple games are KILLLING us. it needs to change.
 
That was easily one of the worst coaching calls I've ever seen. I really would like to know the thought process behind that. It was 100x worse than Rex Ryan not calling TO's at the end of the NYJ/Mia game.
