There’s no crying in football and there’s sure as heck no crying in the Miami Dolphins offensive meeting room.

This is by directive of head coach Adam Gase.

As revealed by starting quarterback Brock Osweiler this week, one of Gase’s benchmark phrases is, “Standards over feelings.”

So — what’s it mean?

Cool insight in the mindset of the coaches and lockerroom overall. And I think this might be why Coach Gase was so indigenous about the Tannehill injury. He was holding the media to a standard that they simply were not reaching. They asked the same question over and over again. I understand more now

Pretty cool. No sugar coating. “Don’t take sacks”. Love that one.
