Why this could be the biggest game of the season

If we win:
- We'll be one game behind the Patriots (9-4 vs. 10-3) and if they lose one more while we win out, we will take the AFC East.

- We'll be tied with either the Colts or the Titans for the #1 Wild-Card spot.

- We'll still be atleast a full game (with a chance to be two games) infront of the Ravens, Bengals and Broncos, for the last Wild-Card spot.

If we lose:
- Patriots clinch AFC East title.

- Could fall into a tie with Cincinatti, Baltimore and/or Denver for the last Wild-Card spot.

- Lose momentum going into PHI, BUF and NYJ

We NEED a win today. It would be huge.

Good points, and more than likely 3 games ahead of one or 2 of those teams if the broncos lose to the Chiefs (which they will, kind of sadly) and since baltimore and cincinatti play then 3 ahead of one of them, since I think we're 2 ahead of them already??? or one??? then it would only be 2 ahead of 2 teams if we win and the chiefs win.

Yes we do need a win, but we also need to keep winning. This is the biggest game of the season so far, but this isn't the game that summurizes our season that Dan LeBatard talks about.

Yeah it is... if we cant win today.. then its just proof we are pretenders, again, yet for another year..

If we cant win today, then its time to brush off that over used statement "Wait till next year"

However, IMO, next year looks less promising to me than this year does.. so I guess its time to say "Its now or never"


and you can repeat that statement every Sunday for the rest of the season...


A loss today and the playoff picture is just a tease... its still open, we can still obtain a wildcard spot... but we all know its pointless because we cant win the big game..

If we lose today we could still get a wild card but the Patriots would clinch the division. We really need a win today.
