Bad Play calling why throw a fade pass to R.WWilliams he's only 5-10
and

The wheel route in that situation is actually a pretty good call. It was a bad throw and Hope did a good job of not taking the bait on the underneath crossing pattern. I had no problem with the call

we run that play too much but its worked in the past, but usually with a LB covering Ricky... this time we had a safety and should have never thrown it, Ricky is not going to fight for a ball in the air... i hate that play call a lot, ricky doesn't have the greatest of hands in the first place

all plays are bad calls when they don't work. Henne has to put the ball where only Williams can get it, or it goes out of bounds.

1. he was covered

2. bad throw

definitely bad decision by henne. there was a wr / te underneath that was open.

were going to have plays like this all year with henne. Hopefully he steps forward next year with better wr's and another year of experience.

Ricky is one of my favorite players but Henning, Lee and Sparano should watch a compilation video of his catching screwups over the years. (It will be quite a long video).. Unlike Ronnie, Ricky is not a natural in the air and will statistically will struggle to make the catch.
However, he is built like a truck with power and speed. Focusing on a great veteran's well-known weaknesses sounds like a poor percentage play to me.

I didn't hate the call as much as I hated the decision/throw. As soon as he threw it I was like "the mother****er is covered".

Yea bad idea to throw it...But we battled back and we had a chance to win the game..

We need to work Harder to close out these games..

That Titans game was our season in a microcosim...Start out bad finish well but just not quite good enough..

Anything can happen... on the bright side our future looks damn good

he just put too much air under it. that needed to be placed in the back corner of the end zone where only Ricky could get it.

Sure would be nice to have a 6'5" 3rd round rookie going up after that. Oh wait . . .

I don't have a problem with the decision to throw it, it was the placement of the throw that was aweful. If he throws it to the corner of the endzone either Ricky makes a great catch or nobody gets it.

Bad couple of throws by Henne sprinkled in with some absolutely unfreakin' real throws. It only hurts more because of the playoff situation but overall Henne looks like he's the real deal.

It was about as bad as that fade to Haynos last year in the KC game . . . Pennington made that pass and who in the hell knows where the damn ball went.

Atleast we won that game.
