When Brissett attempted to re-enter the game Flores was shown aggressively telling him that he was staying on the sideline and Tua was playing. Can someone explain what's going on? Is Flores being told to keep Tua off the field? When given the opportunity did he overrule what he had been told to do?

I'm not sure what's going on but I sense that Tua is tired of the bs.

Some weird stuff going on. Not sure who Brisset thinks he is but he stinks as an NFL QB. I was so glad to see Tua enter the game.

I don't know if he was really heated at Brissett, so much as he was just heated in the moment that he didn't want him risking going back in when the extent of his injury was unknown.

Stressful decision when a game is looking potentially winnable and suddenly your starter and backup are both hurt, and you gotta make a call about who to put in, knowing you're risking both.

I dunno now. I am so confused.

I am a Flores hates Tua conspiracy theorist.

But last night really looked like Flores was waiting for a chance to put Tua in.

After that first series. He could have easily put Brussett back in and most people would understand because Brissett appeared to be ok.

Flores stuck with Tua and it paid off.

It's confusing. Is Flores pro or anti Tua.

Last night truly has me rethinking my conspiracy theory ways.

Unless the point was to shut us up and show Tua wasn't ready. If so the plan backfired lol.

Maybe Flores is truly being forced and isn't in control of the QB situation

Hopefully last night was Flores giving Tua the chance with a little trust and Tua earning his trust. Some shady stuff was happening before but like you said to keep him in there after looking rusty first two drives was a great call.

Flores and the QB carousel has to stop. It sure as hell seems like someone was telling him not to play Tua and once he got his opportunity he kept him out there . Let’s be clear, previously I thought just the opposite

Exactly. Great call. Because if he pulled Tua for an apparent healthy brissett... most would have understood. Not liked understood.

The great part imo, is Tua hopefully earned the defenses trust as well last night.

The defense WON the game, Tua complimented the defense in the 4th and made sure their effort was not in vein

Is this another poor Tua thread worded differently?

This is atleast Tuas floor. We can build around him and the defense. Contrary to popular belief, a qb doesn’t need to carry a team every game in fact Brady spent most of his career winning by managing games with dominate defenses and a great running game. He had that ability to take over games but didn’t always need to. We should have a ton of cap, keep Tua and build the best possible oline money can buy along with a dependable wideout and linebacker. Draft a runningback top 2 rounds. I e seen enough that Tua needs to get atleast his whole rookie contract but we also need to put him in a position to succeed. Last ranking oline and running game along with playing with one good wideout and tight end along with the rest being 7th/8th wideouts on the team isn’t doing that.

I agree with what you’re saying about our needs and it really isn’t the overhaul many fins think it is.

You seem to understand this. Does the front office and coaching staff? Doubtful.

I'm with ya on the Flores hates Tua bandwagon.

He was likely pissed at Brisket because, deep down inside, he wanted Jacoby to win this game. If he did, it would support his hate for Tua and his belief that Tua is not the answer and that Jacoby runs the offense better. As you mentioned, he probably threw in Tua hoping he would flounder and the Dolphins could start putting the final nails in Tua's coffin. Wrong!!!

It's Tua time!!

You honestly think that Flo would risk losing a game because he hates someone? Is this for realz?
